“Let It Snow” (2022) - A Campus Five Holiday Album is OUT NOW!

We are excited to announce our sixth Campus Five album "Let It Snow" is OUT NOW. 15 tracks of both holiday classics and deep cuts, with all original arrangements designed with Lindy Hoppers, Balboa and Shag Dancers in mind.

“Let It Snow” features the same group of international all-star swing musicians that have been with the Campus Five since the beginning (Albert Alva, Jim Ziegler, Chris Dawson and Josh Collazo), with the addition of new bassist Samuel Wolfe Rocha, an international jazz festival all-star in his own right, plus special guest Mikiya Matsuda, of the Alcatraz Islanders, as special guest steel guitarist on the track “Mele Kalikimaka”.

The Campus Five on ABC's "The Bachelorette"Jonathan Stout and his Campus Five, featuring Hilary Alexander were featured, along with Lindy Hop legend Jean Veloz and host of Los Angeles' best Lindy Hoppers, on an episode of ABC's "The Bachelorette" that aired June 6, 2016.

During the "dance lession" segment, Jean Veloz is seen dancing with Steve Conrad to an original Campus Five song written for the show called "Swingin' on Rusty's Gate", a nod to Rusty Frank who also appears in the episode teaching with Steve. Once the couple heads outside, the dancers can be seen dancing to another Campus Five original "Doin' at the Doing" (and the audio you hear is the band playing live, on location).
